All of Herman Miller’s standard commercial office furniture products sold under
the Herman Miller, Meridian or Geiger brand names (except for exclusions listed
below, eg fabrics, pneumatic cylinders and service parts)

Aeron pellicle
Aeron pellicle seat and back mesh as fitted to new chairs (other parts of Aeron
chairs except pneumatic cylinder rest within 12-year warranty)
3 years
Gas lift cylinders
Pneumatic cylinders as fitted to new chairs
Provisions that apply to all products If a product, part or component is found
to contain defects in material or workmanship within the applicable warranty
period, Herman Miller will repair it or replace it with the same or comparable
product, at its option, free of charge. Any product, part or component subject
to a warranty claim must have been installed and maintained according to Herman
Miller’s published instructions, must not have been subjected to unreasonable
use, and must not have been modified.
This warranty applies to original purchasers only who acquire their products
new from Herman Miller or one of their authorised dealers.
The warranty period starts from the date of purchase.
The following features of natural materials are not considered defects:
-Changes on wood colour due to ageing or to exposure to light
-Natural variations in wood grain or figure or the presence of character marks
- Marks, scars or wrinkles occurring in leather
- Veins, marks, voids fissures or cracks found in stone.
Herman Miller’s warranty does not cover:
-Defect or failure resulting from normal wear and tear
-Consumable products such as light bulbs
- Certain electronic products such as electronic fans or keyless locking
mechanisms
- The matching of the colours, grains or textures of natural materials
- The colourfastness or the matching of colours of textiles, including as exact
match to cuttings, swatch cards, or printed or electronic reproductions
- The purchaser’s own fabrics (COM) or any other purchaser’s supplied materials.
*Except as stated above all conditions, warranties and representations,
whether express or implied, statutory or otherwise in relation to the products
are excluded.
*Except as stated above Herman Miller will not be liable for any loss or
damage (including costs) however caused, whether direct or consequential,
incurred or suffered by the purchaser or any third party in respect of the
products but nothing contained herein will or will be considered to exclude or
restrict any liability on Herman Miller’s part for death or personal injury
resulting from negligence.
